4 Easy Recipes For Protein Treats

I have found and used these four recipes for protein snacks. These snacks are very easy to make and the recipe for all four are very simple to make.

Peanut Butter Protein Candy Bar

If you crave peanut butter candy bars this is a healthy way to curve those cravings. All that is needed is a few ingredients and a chocolate bar mold to make individual squares.

300 Calories – 18g Carbs – 26g Protein – 14g Fat

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop peanut butter whey protein
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp water
  1. Small Bowl mix peanut butter, whey protein and water.
  2. Spread mixture into a chocolate bar mold. If you don’t have a mold, spread the mixture thinly on a plate covered in plastic wrap.
  3. Place in freezer for about 30 minutes or until the bar sets.
  4. After the mixture sets, eat immediately or place the rest in a freezer

Chocolate Avocado Stuffed Strawberry

This recipe calls for avocado. If you are not a fan of avocado, you can substitute avocado with peanut butter or coconut oil. If you want more chocolate flavoring add in some cocoa powder to the mixture.

Ingredients

  • 10 strawberries
  • ½ scoop(s) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tsp granulated Stevia
  1. Slice ripe avocado in half and remove the pits.
  2. Place one half into a bowl. Return the other half to the fridge for another day.
  3. Mash the avocado in the bowl with a fork until it is smooth and creamy.
  4. Add chocolate whey protein.
  5. Blend with the avocado. Add water if needed.
  6. Add stevia or any other sweetener you prefer.
  7. Hull 10 medium strawberries.
  8. Spoon the pudding into the the center of the strawberries. If you do not want to dig the middle of the strawberries out, simply dip the strawberries into the pudding mix.

Protein Peanut Butter Cups

This is my favorite recipe and my favorite snack out of the four recipes that I have used.

322 Calories – 7g Carbs – 30g Protein – 19g Fat

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 scoop(s) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter
  • 2 tbsp water
  1. In a small bowl mix coconut butter and protein powder.
  2. Spread half of the mixture into a silicone baking cup.
  3. Place in the freezer for about 5 minutes, or until it’s hardened.
  4. Remove from freezer and spread peanut butter on top of the first chocolate layer. Then, dump the remaining chocolate mixture into the silicone cup, covering the peanut butter.
  5. Place in the freezer for 30 to 60 minutes, until it sets.

Protein Fruit Crepe

This recipe is also very delicious and a great snack. I like this recipe cause it is loaded with protein. This is one of the fastest and easiest recipes to do.

390 Calories – 33g Carbs – 44g Protein – 9g Fat

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup egg whites
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 scoop peanut butter whey protein
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  1. Mix all crepe ingredients together.
  2. Place the batter onto a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Make sure the skillet is large so that your crepe will be skinny and big. Cover the skillet with a lid.
  3. While you are waiting for the crepe to cook, cut up a cup of your favorite fruit to use as filling.
  4. Once the top of the crepe is bubbling, flip the crepe and cook until you can see the bottom has turned golden brown.
  5. Plate the crepe, and drizzle with calorie-free syrup and calorie-free sprinkles.
